EDIT: Apparently hotels are very expensive at the time of the conference. Book early. If you tell me where you are going, I can write it on this page so that people are in the same hotel.

It is important to understand first what is where:

• Vanderbilt (conference location) is West of Downtown Nashville
• Night life is on Broadway/1st to 5th if you like Country music, on 1st abd 2nd for bars. This is what I will call downtown

Walking distance is less than 25 minutes. For more choices, I recommend looking at WikiVoyage

Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Vanderbilt (probably the closest one)

Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt (Dwtn)

Scarritt-Bennett Center (very close, cheaper than the rest)

Although the bus system seems efficient in Nashville, but:

Comfort Inn Hotel (already 4 people from the workshop registered there), bus number 3 is direct (~25minutes)
